Provider examples
Healthcare research panels: HCP and patient providers
Define the clinician, patient or caregiver audience and request recruitment feasibility for each country and quota. Then compare where participants will come from and who handles screening, fieldwork and incentives. The five provider examples describe published audience and recruitment services; their availability depends on the study criteria.

About this guide
The examples describe documented healthcare recruitment and research offerings. PanelList records and official provider pages were reviewed on October 26, 2026. Published services do not establish study-specific availability, recruitment quality or prices. The examples cover several service types and are not a complete inventory of the market.
PanelList is sponsored by Versive. Other providers do not pay for inclusion. Versive appears where its documented capabilities relate to the topic, with sponsor labels on comparison entries.
Define the clinician, patient or caregiver audience
A clinician can explain prescribing decisions, workflow and professional responsibilities. A patient can describe the experience of finding care, using a service or living with a condition. A caregiver may manage appointments, purchases or daily support. These perspectives can complement each other, but one should not silently stand in for another.
Define the decision your research must support. For a clinician workflow study, specify the specialty, setting and actual task. For patient experience research, specify the relevant experience and time period. For a caregiver study, describe the relationship and responsibilities that qualify someone. A broad label such as “healthcare respondents” is too vague for comparable quotes.
Separate participant access from fieldwork services
A survey supplier, a recruitment team and a full-service research practice may all describe themselves as healthcare research partners. The table separates their possible deliverables so that a feasibility request specifies the work required.
| Project need | Starting point | Confirm before commissioning |
|---|---|---|
| HCP survey | Healthcare-professional panel or custom audience service | Specialty, current role, country, quotas and source of participants |
| Patient or caregiver interviews | Condition-focused panel and recruitment service | Separate patient/caregiver counts, experience criteria and scheduling support |
| Several healthcare audiences | Provider covering HCPs and patient populations | Separate sample plans and reporting for each audience |
| Interviews or groups | Supplier with explicit qualitative fieldwork | Screening, moderation, recording, incentives and replacement responsibilities |
What the provider examples cover
Sermo publishes a clinician-focused research offering. M3 Global Research and Konovo describe services for multiple healthcare audiences. Rare Patient Voice and Opinion Health describe patient-focused recruitment. The provider descriptions identify the published service and the details that require project-specific confirmation.
Konovo and Rare Patient Voice belong to the same group and have distinct marketed entry points. Their proposed participant sources may overlap. When comparing their quotes, or quotes from suppliers using common partners, ask how duplicate participation will be identified.
Request feasibility by country and quota
A global network or a long condition list does not tell you how many people will qualify for this particular study. Request an estimate for each country and audience cell, with the assumptions behind it. Ask what is already known from participant profiles and what must be established in the screener.
Make difficult restrictions visible early: recent treatment experience, a specific practice setting, a narrow purchasing responsibility, language, session availability or willingness to use a research tool. Ask for a base plan and an alternative with clearly identified criteria you could relax. Do not accept a larger total that quietly changes the population you meant to study.
- Provide the research objective, audience definition, countries, languages, method, duration and proposed dates.
- Separate essential eligibility rules from desirable balancing characteristics.
- Request expected qualified completes or attended sessions, not just matching profile counts.
- Ask which participants come from the supplier's own community, custom outreach or partners.
Compare screening, fieldwork and incentive responsibilities
For interviews, clarify who writes and checks the screener, confirms attendance, handles accessibility needs and follows up with missed sessions. For surveys, clarify who programs the instrument, manages quotas and reviews responses. A recruitment-only quote should not be compared directly with a quote that includes moderation and analysis.
Agree how the first few interviews or survey responses will be reviewed before the main fieldwork continues. Document the handling of replacements, incomplete responses, duplicate participants and changes to recruitment sources. For sensitive topics, ask the supplier to explain its participant-information and data-handling workflow and review that with your project team.
Study delivery can be bought separately from specialist recruitment. For example, Versive runs AI-moderated interviews and surveys with real participants recruited by your team or a supplier. Share the study link with eligible participants and agree who handles screening, invitations and incentives. Versive is the study platform in this arrangement; the healthcare supplier establishes specialty or condition feasibility.
Provider examples
These descriptions summarize published services. Confirm the scope, team and availability for your project with each provider.
| Provider | Published services | Questions to confirm |
|---|---|---|

| M3 Global Research | HCP and patient fieldwork across markets | Ask for the sourcing plan by country and audience, especially where the proposed study depends on partners or narrow eligibility criteria. |
| Konovo | Mixed healthcare audiences and custom sourcing | Specify each stakeholder group separately and ask which Konovo service or community will supply it; check overlap with other suppliers. |
| Rare Patient Voice | Patient and caregiver recruitment by condition | Treat published counts as a starting point. Request current eligibility, response and session feasibility for your precise brief; it is a Konovo company. |
| Opinion Health | Patient studies using different research modes | Confirm current country and condition availability, and whether interviewing or moderation is included alongside recruitment. |

Common questions
How is feasibility assessed for a rare-condition study?
Provide the same condition, experience, location and participation criteria to each supplier. Compare the expected number of qualified participants, sourcing plan and alternatives if recruitment falls short. A published condition count does not establish availability for that combination of criteria.
Can I combine HCP and patient respondents in one study?
Yes, if the research design calls for both. Use separate recruitment criteria and clearly distinguish their findings. Ask whether one supplier can manage both groups and whether that simplifies delivery without weakening either audience definition.
Does a healthcare panel guarantee a representative sample?
No. Coverage, selection, participation and the study's design all matter. Ask how respondents will be selected and which groups may be missed; describe the limits of the resulting sample when reporting findings.
